Mindfulness is a practice of self-care where protected time and space helps to calm the mind and body. Mindfulness should easily fit into everyday life, encouraging an acceptance of being in the present moment where there are no expectations, judgements or critical thought. The stillness which is created through mindfulness allows the body and mind to awaken and feel alive yet accessing a sense of real inner peace.

 

My 5 week beginners course is based in the beautiful Chew Valley and is run face to face in small groups.

The course offers participants the opportunity to learn basic strategies and techniques in mindful meditation but also provides some understanding of the many benefits which impact both mind and body.
